OVERVIEW
Founded in 1970, Northeast Raiders began as a recreational soccer club built on community, accessibility, and a genuine love for the game. By the mid‑1980s, growing interest and rising player demand led to the creation of St. Pete Raiders, the club’s competitive division. Together, both programs have operated in harmony for decades, offering a complete soccer experience for players of all ages and abilities.
OUR BEGINNING
The St. Pete Raiders / Northeast Raiders Soccer Club carries a rich and meaningful history, including several name changes over the years. Through every transition, one truth has remained constant, we have always been St. Pete Raiders at heart. Tradition, player development, and community involvement form the foundation of who we are.
We are a club built on values: developing players the right way, fostering character, and nurturing a lifelong passion for soccer. Our commitment to the community has been central since day one, and it continues to guide our mission today.
OUR SUCCESS
Over the years, the club has celebrated tremendous achievements, including:
- State Championship teams
- Multiple regional champions
- A long list of college athletes and alumni who have continued their soccer journey
Our goal is simple yet ambitious: to educate, to provide first‑class training, and to deliver a complete soccer pathway — from fun and recreational play all the way to college and professional opportunities.
OUR PROGRAMS
We proudly offer a 12‑month, full‑service soccer program serving players from age 3 through U‑19, across both boys’ and girls’ divisions. In addition, we operate a TOPS program, ensuring that athletes with disabilities have access to the joy and development that soccer provides.
LOOKING AHEAD
We remain committed to strengthening our relationships with families, expanding our programs, and continuing to grow together through the love of the beautiful game. The St. Pete Raiders legacy is built on tradition — and our future is built on community.
