Welcome new and returning families, the St. Pete Raiders Soccer Club hopes you will have a great experience with us this season.

General Information for the U19 Co-ed program

League is GYSA's modeling of the Tampa Bay Club Sports Co-ed league played all around the Tampa Bay area.

1. Teams:        1-2 teams with boys and girls combined to form teams
2. Team Size: 10-12 players max.per team
3. Practice:     Twice a week, from 7:30 - 9:00 Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday (Determined by the coach)
4. Games:       8 League games during the season played on Saturdays
5. Game Day:  Games Played 6 v 6 with 4 Male players & 2 Female players on the field at all times,  the goalie is one of the 6 players. There is offsides at this level. Game play is two 30 minute halves
6. Ball Size:     5
7. GYSA Tournament: 3 games after the regular season will be played at other clubs in our county. Normally 2 games on a Saturday and 1 game on a Sunday. Possibly advancement in tournament to play in Semi-Finals and Finals. Currently to be played Late Jan.

IMPORTANT DATES

1. November 6th First game date of season
2. January 14th Last game date of Regular Season
3. January 21st and 22nd GYSA Tournment 1st round games. Finals weekend Jan 28th.
4. Spring soccer starts in March 2023.   

Practice Schedule:

U19 -  Twice a week, from 7:30 - 9:00 Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday  -  Practice begins in Oct. 

Practice Format:

180 mins with their Parent Facilitator/Coach

Team Formation:

1.   Team rosters will be drawn using the Blind Draw system per GYSA rules.  Rosters will have a maximum of 12 players per team.

League Format:

1.   Games will be on Saturdays beginning the 1st week of November and continuing thru Mid January with advancement thru GYSA CUP could be end of January. Usually will have 4 home games and 4 away games. Away games are at other clubs in Pinellas county.

Game Format:

1.   Game play will be 6v6 ( 5 field players and a goal keeper ).

2.   Games played on Saturdays beginning 1st week in November.  Two 30 minute halves for U-19 Co-ed
